About the Recital Hall:
We charge a booking fee of $45 per hour.
We have a grand piano, microphones, speakers, and music stands available upon request.
No food or drink is allowed in the recital hall at any time except water. If you or those who attend your event bring food in, you may be charged a cleaning fee. If you would like to have a treat as part of your recital, it must be in a sealed container and may only be handed out at the door as your guests are leaving.
Your block of time is meant to include set up, performance, and clean up. Your event may be scheduled back-to-back with another event. Please be courteous by not extending your event before or after the agreed upon times. Going over your agreed upon time will be charged at $60 per hour. If your students require additional time before the event to warm up, please include that time in your reservation. If your event runs late, or if you arrive earlier than scheduled, you may be charged an additional fee or be unable to enter the recital hall space until it is available.
*** Reservations scheduled at 10 am will be able to enter the recital hall at 10 am at the earliest. If you require an earlier arrival time to accommodate setup/warming up, please let us know so we can schedule our employees accordingly.
When your event is over, please straighten the room/chairs, move any furniture back where you found it, and power off any amplifiers/P.A. systems/other equipment used during your event.
Please do not move the grand piano without help from one of our employees.
While reasonable efforts will be made to limit outside noise during your event, any event scheduled during store hours is likely to experience some noise resulting from movement upstairs/music school lessons. If you would like to minimize that noise as much as possible, please request to hold your event outside of store hours so we can best accommodate your needs.
Our employees are paid by the hour. If your guests linger after store hours, you may be responsible for an additional fee to cover our employees’ time.
Our recital hall seats 70 people. If you expect more than 70 people to attend your event, consider extending the length of your event to accommodate staggered arrival times.
Our recital hall is located downstairs, and we do not have an elevator. If you require wheelchair access, please coordinate with us beforehand, and let your guests know what to expect when they arrive. We will make every effort to ensure that your guests are able to attend your event comfortably.
Our lesson studios/storage spaces are not included in your reservation. Please make every effort to keep your guests from entering these areas.
