He has played in numerous groups and gigged all over Utah in places like Salt Lake City, Park City, and Provo. He currently actively gigs with a local instrumental surf band called “Johnny Utah” and a grunge pop band called “Bat Brain”.
Adam understands live music, improv, and the importance of feel and groove, and ultimately the immense joy that comes from performing on the drums. He enjoys ALL types of music and is especially fond of reggae and early ska, punk rock, new wave, classic rock, old school, outlaw, and alt. country, hip hop, and Motown.

Bridger Bird
Howdy! My name is Bridger. I am a passionate music educator specializing in clarinet and saxophone, with a focus on classical, jazz, and music theory. I believe in tailoring lessons to each student's needs, ensuring a fun and engaging learning experience that fosters both technical growth and a lifelong love of music. My goal is to inspire students to love their instruments and continue their musical journey for years to come.
At college, I studied both Music and Coding. I started teaching music lessons in 2018 and I love it! Aside from my career, I enjoy time with my wife and kids, as well as my hobbies such as photography and exploring the great outdoors. The thing that brings me the most happiness is my family. I couldn't be who I am today without them.
As I have taught over the years, I have learned how to help students accomplish their own goals and ambitions rather than walking them through a rigid method or curriculum. If you take lessons from me, you'll soon find out that I always ask what songs you want to learn and we start learning them as soon as possible. With the fun of learning your own songs and with a strong emphasis on technique development, you will enjoy overcoming common challenges and striving for new heights on your instrument. Come learn and reach your goals with improvising, audition prep, performance, music theory, rhythm, or even songwriting. You know what you want to accomplish and I'm here to make it possible for you!

Danny Smith
I'm Danny Smith and my Company is DS Drum Lessons. I teach at Boothe Music and other locations. With 35+ years of drum experience and 25+ of those years teaching, I learned that every student is different. This requires individualized lessons for each student to go their own pace and learn in a way that best suits their needs and ways of learning. I focus on Reading Music, Coordination, Grooves, Soloing, playing with Music and Bands. I also can cater to your requests on specific drum related material, like Marching Band(snare or tenors), Jazz Band, School Bands, Rock Bands, Performing and much more.
My Education started with the summer before 6th grade, when my parents asked me which instrument I wanted to play, naturally I chose drums. From that point on, I strove to be the best drummer in every class with 1st chair. In 7th grade, I decided it was time to learn more by taking private lessons. My first teacher was Randal Beach; the BYU asst. Director for their marching band. Randal has a great history of playing for Blue Devils Drum Corps and teaching many great drummers. Years Later I started lessons with another private instructor: Jason Willard, also having a great track record. During this period, I was enrolled in high school Marching band and Jazz Band. I was center snare my last years of high school and band president. I instructed the S.F. Drumline the next couple of years and again after moving back from California. Our Drumline had the opportunity to score 1st place in near every competition. Troopers Drum and Bugle Corps was the next step directly after High School, which we had 16 hours practice days and toured all across America from Utah to New York to Florida(and every state in-between). After the rudimental part of me was satisfied, I then moved to Hollywood in sunny California to pursue more drumset @ M.I.(Musicians Institute) to which I owe a vast amount of my drumset skills. Now I have settled back in Utah to continue teaching Drum Lessons to wonderful students.
I've also competed in P.A.S.(Percussive Arts Society), getting high scores my senior year with 95/100 and 97/100. I recieved the highest rank of 1 when I went to the State competition for School. The Guitar Center Drum Off was among many other competitions and showcases I've competed or participated over the years. Now I hold my own competitions, every 2 years for drum students, with 3 judges to determine the top 6 places for prizes.
I wrote my own books, which I use to teach drumset. I have 11 different books ranging from beginner to advanced. Specific music Styles are explored like, Jazz, Double Bass(Heavy Metal), Funk, Latin and more. Having small music pieces to play along with are supplemental in the aid of learning songs. I hold 2 drum recitals a year.
I really enjoy what I do, and it brings me great joy to see students progress and play drums! I also try and make my students as comfortable as I can, and always welcome questions from students to be answered.
